Television Auction |
|
For
the past 34 years, the Concord Boys and Girls Club has held
an Annual Television Auction, which is aired on the first
Saturday in December on
Concord TV Channels 6 and 22. Hundreds of local businesses and
individuals donate items and sponsorships. Viewers are eager to do their
Christmas shopping via the Auction, because they achieve two goals at
one time: find real ‘treasures’ at bargain prices; and support a worthy
cause. The 2007 Auction brought in $76,000 for the Club. |
